Original Poem -- Processing Fear

Life without certainty should feel freeing,

but I am scared.

 

Emotions with honesty should feel freeing,

but I am scared.

 

Fear without purpose is delusion.

Fear with purpose is uncomfortable,

creating ambition,

confronting challenge.

 

To frame experience and emotion with conscientiousness

is to build real security:

enough freedom to live,

enough structure to remain ambitious.

Perhaps fear does not disappear.

When it remains,

refine it into awareness,

discipline it with intention,

and find freedom within.
